During our time here and this week, I keep having these wow moments. I look around and realize wow I’m actually in South Africa. It has come to me so many times. Like during car rides and realizing that we are on the opposite side of the road, waking up in a bunk bed or sitting around playing games with our team, maybe during our adventure days, or while running around the playground with our kids. It’s like a woah I am actually here kind of feeling. I see God in the little things and find myself thanking Him for the things I notice. It can bring the simplest moment of joy when you notice the little things around you. I just thank God for all the times that things stick out to me and I can thank him for bringing and meeting us here.

This week has been a simple and sweet week filled with so many great moments in ministry. I enjoyed spending quality time with the kids even during some of the difficult moments when they didn’t listen or behave:) Every day spent with them makes me not look forward to saying goodbye and being unable to see them every day. Our team had a great week of ministry and some high and low moments. Most of our team was sick for a few days and had to stay home from ministry. Thankfully with plenty of prayer and rest, they got better and are back to normal!

lots of baby snuggles 🙂

Our week ended with our adventure day where a group of us went to Johannesburg to watch a rugby game! We had a great time being together and ended the evening with a traditional South African Braai and a game of bonanza. I just feel so grateful for the people that God has brought together on this trip and enjoy getting to spend so much time together!
